As this was the last day we would have a car, we went to Aldi to get in a big food shop after work. We bought 3 weeks worth of meals for around £70 so it was a huge saving! My plan was to freeze 2 weeks worth of meat/fish and just buy the fresh ingredients to accompany the meals week by week. I was a bit anxious that not everything would fit in our really small freezer but it did and I felt super proud I’d managed to plan it all so well. Excel spreadsheets are a great way to plan out your meals!
I had a little bit of a treat tonight and ate some chocolate raisins and crisps. It wasn’t planned – they just ended up in our trolley but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. If my injury has taught me anything, it’s that overdoing something is not a good idea. I can achieve balance and enjoy these things without railroading my progress and goals.
Intake:
- Smoothie
- 3 Heck Food Chicken Sausages and Butternut Squash Soup
- Light and Free Raspberry Yoghurt
- Kallo Mini Rice Cakes w/ Chocolate
- Chicken w/ Long Grain Rice and Brocolli

- Prawn Cocktail Crisps
I also had my 3 week reassessment at the chiropractor. It went well and I’m making good progress in terms of my overall range of movement and mobility but there’s still a lot of work to be done on my right hip. I’ll keep you all up to date!
