Day Three – Positive Monday Mood

Despite it being Monday, I was feeling pretty positive when I woke up this morning. That may have something to do with the fact I’m only working a 3 and a half day week this week.

Brandon and I  had some not so great news today, but we’ll get through it – as we always do! It just means we’ll have to be a little more careful with money and plan things better.

I then had my spinal adjustment at 2pm. My chiropractor, Paul said I’m adjusting well and making really good progress which is great news. That’s me finished week 2 of 8 now so it’s going by quicker than I’d first thought.

My intake for today was:

  • Smoothie w/ Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, 1 Banana, Coconut Water and Fat-Free Natural Yoghurt
  • Black Grapes
  • Corn Thins w/ Dark Chocolate
  • Leftover Teriyaki Chicken w/ Egg Fried Rice
  • 2 Turkey Sausages w/Egg Fried Rice and Soy Sauce

I went for a swim after work and managed nearly 30 minutes before my back started to get a little sore. It was really relaxing after a long and stressful day. Afterwards, I spent a little bit of time in the steam room and sauna. It was the first time I have used them at my own gym and it won’t be the last! It was total heaven and felt like a little spa treat on a Monday night.

What a day. I’m glad it’s over.
