Today was a struggle. My walking has improved since yesterday but I’m still sore pretty much EVERYWHERE! I’ll definitely be going back to Body Pump if it means my muscles are working that hard. I went to the gym this morning but it was by no means a great session. I ran/walked for 3km on the Treadmill and then moved on to the epileptical for 20 minutes. I still burned 400 calories that I wouldn’t have burned had I stayed in bed but it gets me down when my sessions are not that productive. I need to learn when my body just needs a rest and stop following my head that just wants to work out all the time no matter how I’m feeling.
My intake for the day was:
- Nutrigrain Granola Bar
- Nutrigrain Raisin Bake
- Salad w/ Chicken and Couscous
- Baked Potato w/ Reduced Fat Cheddar
It was one of my colleagues birthday’s so there was Cadburys Roses circulating the office today. I may have indulged in one or two but a girl has to live, right? I used to love savoury snacks but now I could devour a mountain of chocolate if you put it in front of me! I have developed a very dangerous sweet tooth.
After another sunbed and catching up on the latest episode of The Island with Beat Grylls, I’m off to pack my gym bag and head for bed! Goodnight and remember, it’s Friday tomorrow!
