I find it so difficult to get out of bed in the morning when Brandon is off at the weekends. Thankfully, I only work every second Saturday so I only have to go through the torture twice a month. My bed this morning was cosier, comfier and far more appealing than a full day in the office. However, I did wake up hangover-free which was a delightful surprise. I thought I’d at least have a little bit of a headache but I felt absolutely fine; most likely due to the amount of food consumed which clearly soaked up the alcohol. I’m certainly glad I went home when I did and also forced myself to drink a lot of water before bed and when I woke up during the night in an attempt to re-hydrate my body; and it worked! I feel great and I won’t fall off track by eating badly trying to cure a hangover.
I didn’t get up in time to go to the gym this morning before work, as I was preempting feeling worse than I did so I’m going to try and squeeze in a workout tomorrow instead. 3 days a week of exercise just doesn’t cut it anymore. That said, it’s my only day off with Brandon before he goes away for the week so it may just be a quick Kayla workout at home. But something is better than nothing!
My intake for today was:
- Nutrigrain Granola Bar
- Chicken w/ Moroccan Couscous
- Nutrgrain Raisin Bar
- Spicy Chicken w/ Cashews and White Rice
- Small Summer Fruits Sorbet Lolly
I got home from a long day at work and had a nice night in with Brandon. We finally finished watching Spectre (3rd time lucky as I kept falling asleep) and I really enjoyed it! We then went out to collect his Granny and Grandad from an event they go to on a Saturday night. I always love seeing them! All in all, my Saturday hasn’t been too bad but I’m looking forward to a nice relaxing Sunday.
