That cold I could feel coming on has hit me..HARD! I’m completely choked up and it feels like I’m swallowing razor blades. I felt horrendous when I woke up but I didn’t want to take a rest day – I wanted to utilise the high I was on from yesterday’s run! In hindsight, I should have given my body a break. I ran 5km whilst breathing like Darth Vadar then trained my arms.
My intake for today was:
- Soreen Lunchbox Loaf
- Ginger Pumpkin and Sunflower Seeds (yummy but high in fat!)
- Nutrigrain Raisin Bar
- Salad w/ Chicken
- Salmon w/ Moroccan Couscous
After work I got home, had my dinner and now I’m in bed with an Options Hot Chocolate (only 39 calories per sachet!) and I’m going to watch The Good Wife. I’ve been looking forward to this all day and it’s just what I’ve been needing as this cold is sucking every ounce of energy I’ve got straight out of me. I’m hoping it doesn’t affect my training too much and I’m going to have to wait and see how I feel in the morning to decide if I’ll be well enough to work out. Fingers crossed it passes quickly.
