Last night I did my meal plan for the week and ordered an online shop from Sainsbury’s, which arrived today. I can’t wait to get home from work as there’s nothing better than a colourful fridge full of fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. The fridge has been empty for the last couple of days and it’s been slim pickings so it’s a welcome change. I’m still trying to get rid of the food in our drawers and cupboards – we’re getting there! We move out of our flat in 3 weeks time so most of my meals are planned around this. I can’t wait to go back to eating fresh food every day! Here’s what my week looks like..
I had a great morning in the gym; running 7km again. It was a little bit of a struggle this morning though! I was feeling pretty tired after a couple of days off the gym but I’m hoping that’s gotten me back in a rhythm. I increased the incline again throughout my run; ranging between 3.5% to 6.0%, which was really hard on my legs! I certainly felt a burn.
My intake for today was:
- Pineapple Chunks
- Nutrigrain Strawberry Bar
- Salt and Vinegar SnackaJacks
- Lentil and Vegetable Soup
- Beef Stiryfry w/ Chilli Egg Noodles
I’m so glad the food shop arrived today as I definitely cannot survive on just soup for lunch. I barely felt like I’d eaten and was still starving afterwards! I need protein and some carbs at lunch to keep me going throughout the day until dinner.
I fell asleep watching Sicario (not because it’s boring; there’s certainly plenty of action) so I’m off to bed for an early night so that I’m feeling fresh tomorrow.
